What is LEAF?

LEAF stands for Learning English Activities for Families. The program runs from 4 to 5 pm every other Friday, and it is open to all newcomers in the Weyburn area.

Partnership

The LEAF program is in partnership between SNS, Southeast College, and the Weyburn Public Library.

Cultural Integration

During each session, our team will guide participants through various activities and discussions related to Canadian culture and traditions. These activities are designed to help newcomers better understand life in Canada, Canadian holidays and celebrations, and the unique customs and values of Canadian society.

The LEAF Program is an excellent opportunity for newcomer families to meet and connect with other families in the community. Our program provides a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of their background or experience in Canada.

UPCOMING DATES:

Please note that the June 23 session will be the last one on our current schedule. However, we are working on plans for future sessions, and we encourage you to check back on our webpage for updates.
